Sara Kim
LCSW
Sara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University and holds licensure in both New York and New Jersey. Sara has worked in a variety of clinical settings and has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, stress, interpersonal conflict, poor self-image, and trauma-related concerns. She also has a heart for working with women who are survivors of domestic violence.
Sara is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is also certified in School Social Work and has served children with special needs as part of a Child Study Team.
With a deep sensitivity to cultural diversity, Sara creates a safe and supportive space for clients from all walks of life. She integrates evidence-based practices with biblical principles, walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges. Sara believes true healing comes from the Lord, who is close to the brokenhearted and strengthens those who place their trust in Him.
