Jennifer Joy Carosello has a heart for helping people build marriages that last a lifetime—starting before they say “I do.” As a premarital counselor, she specializes in guiding couples through conversations that matter most: communication, values, expectations, and faith. Her approach blends warmth and wisdom with practical tools that prepare couples not just for a wedding, but for a thriving marriage.

A proud graduate of Liberty University, Jennifer earned her Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling (Marriage and Family) with high honors. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Human Relations from Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec) and a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Northpoint Bible College (Massachusetts). She is trained and certified in SYMBIS—the Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts assessment—helping couples uncover strengths, identify blind spots, and grow together with intention.

At Selah, Jennifer embodies our belief that healing and growth happen when biblical truth meets real-life application. She brings her background in church ministry and her gift of empathy into every session, creating a safe, judgment-free space where honesty and hope can coexist.

In addition to her work with couples, Jennifer walks alongside women navigating life transitions, betrayal, and emotional healing after abortion. Her sessions are Spirit-led and grounded in Scripture, inviting women to find peace, purpose, and renewal in the presence of God.

Jennifer believes preparation is one of the greatest forms of love—and her passion is helping others steward that preparation well, so they can step into marriage and womanhood whole, healed, and ready for what’s next.
