Jazmin Ruiz

CBC

Jazmin is currently working toward her state licensure. In addition to her academic pursuits, she serves as a women’s ministry leader at her church.

As a therapist, Jazmin integrates her psychodynamic training with biblical wisdom to offer a truly holistic experience. Her approach involves bringing unconscious memories, thoughts, and feelings to light, helping clients recognize and replace faulty defense mechanisms with healthy coping strategies.

When God called Jazmin to become a counselor, He laid Isaiah 61:1-4 on her heart, affirming her mission to bring good news, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to captives, comfort those who mourn, and share the beauty God bestows in place of ashes. She counsels with confidence, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead each session and provide healing through her work. Jazmin offers therapeutic care to adults and teens struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma.

Isaiah 61:1-4

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
