Jayde Whitten

CLINICAL INTERN

Jayde is a dedicated student at NYU, pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Her passion for counseling was ignited during a high school internship, where she collaborated with a counselor to support high-risk teens and struggling families. Viewing this experience as a divine calling, Jayde earned her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in criminology from Hofstra University and subsequently worked as a Behavioral Technician, focusing on children on the autism spectrum.

As Jayde continues her master's program at NYU, she remains steadfast in her commitment to follow the Lord’s call to become a counselor. With a profound understanding of the challenges faced by both children and adults, Jayde is thrilled to join Selah Counseling Services. She is dedicated to helping clients build emotional resilience and deepen their relationship with Christ.

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
